Bugün St. Patricks Day. Aslında adından da belli olacağı üzere dini bir yapısı var, ancak kendisi dini olmaktan çıkıp İrlanda’nin ulusal bir kutlaması haline gelmiş durumda. Hatta ulusallıktan da, İrlanda’dan yurtdışına göç eden İrlandalıların yayması sayesinde Amerika, İngiltere, Kanada, Avustralya vs gibi ülkelerde de yoğun bir şekilde kutlanıyor. Bakmayın adının içinde “St. ” geçtiğine maksat eğlenmek. Başta bir St. Patricks Day Parade (St. Patricks Day geçit töreni) yapılıyor sonra da törenin ardından bulunabilen bütün publar doldurulup , alkol çılgınlar gibi tuketiliyor. Ozetle, eğlenmek için bir başka sebep daha.
Bugünün havasına uygun olması sebebiyle İrlanda yerel şarkılarından Whiskey In The Jar (evet aslında kendisi yerel İrlanda şarkısı, Metallica sadece cover yapmış) geliyor. Video Metallica’nin 2006 Dublin konserinden.

Evet biraz iddalı bir başlık oldu, ama içim oldukça rahat. Son 3 aydır bilgisayarımda, sürekli açık olan 2 siteden biri Grooveshark. (diğeri daha önce de belirttiğim üzere vazgeçilmez olan Google Reader). İlginç bir şekilde Grooveshark, teknoloji sitelerinde veya insanların Facebook profillerinde çok fazla yer almıyor. Online müzik siteleri başlığı altında akla ilk gelenler Spotify veya Last.fm. Bu iki siteye de pek ışınabilmiş değilim. Gerçi Spotify’i takip edebilmek için proxy ayarlarıyla çok sık oynamam gerekiyordu, açıkçası ona bu sebeple pek bakamadım bile. Last.fm’e ise nedendir bilinmez hiç ısınamadım. Arayüzü pek hoşuma gitmedi, müzik çalma sistemi içerikle birlikte çok fazla kirlenmiş geliyordu. Ancak Grooveshark tamamen müzik üstüne kurulu.
Online bir medya oynatıcı şeklinde bir arayüzü var, ve reklamlar veya gereksiz içerikle bu arayuz kirletilmemis. Reklamlar arayuzun sağ tarafında ve hiçbir şekilde kullanıcı deneyimini olumsuz etkilemiyor. Şu ana kadar aradığım şeyi bulamama gibi bir sıkıntım da olmadı, hatta radio özelliği sayesinde daha önce hiç duymadığım şarkıları veya şarkıcıları keşfetme şansım oldu.
